Bubble Tea

Hello Everybody~! My name is Amy Ye, and I’m from Wuxi, China. I’m currently a freshman in School of Arts and Sciences. For my first blog, I will be talking about this awesome bubble tea called Infusion Tea Spa. For those of you who are bubble tea lovers, I am sure that you will love this place. And for those of you who are not so familiar with bubble tea, let me first introduce you to this delicious drink.

Bubble tea is a sweetly flavored tea beverage invented in Taiwan. Drink recipes may vary, but most bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit (or fruit syrup) and/or milk. Bubble teas also usually contain small tapioca balls or pearls called "boba". Pearls made of jelly are also available in many places.

I’m a bubble tea fanatic, and I can tell you with confidence that you won’t be disappointed with Infusion Tea Spa. This little store is located in Allston, between Harvard Ave & Linden St. You can just take the T to Harvard Ave, and then walk straight to Linden St. And this store is right across Taipei 99, a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant. Infusion Tea Spa offers tons of different flavored bubble tea and you can also add different toppings, such as green beans, red beans, peanuts, etc. They also offer both hot and cold bubble teas. And whenever I go there, I would order Ginger Milk Tea with tapioca or Hot Jelly Grass Tea with red and green beans.

All right, that’s it for this time. Have a nice day!

Until next time,

Amy Ye
