Our duck!
Boston Common
A beautiful view of the Charles River
Shot from when we went into the water
Hi all,
Last weekend, I went on a Boston Duck Tour. I'll tell you a little bit about my experience! I've been to Boston a few times prior to college and have lived here since August, but I have never had the chance to go on a duck tour!
I really recommend it to students from here or around the area. I especially recommend it to International Students and your families. It's a great way to see Boston in a short amount of time! I've been to the Prudential area many times, but I never realized how beautiful the area was until I went on the duck tour.
As for the tickets, I know there a few areas where you can buy them, but I bought mine in Prudential Center, right across from Barnes and Noble. You can also get a student discount. I think it was $26.00 for one ticket.
The tour lasts about an hour and a half and they take you everywhere! We visited Prudential, Copley, North Station (where TD Garden is- home of the Celtics), Charles River, Harvard, North End (Little Italy- really good Italian restaurants!), Quincy Market (a famous tourist place), Boston Common, Theater District, and more. The duck, which you will see in pictures, can also go in the water. The tour guide was really funny and he let people drive the boat/duck. The tour was really informative, as we were guided to famous historical sites and given a brief background about the area.
Enjoy the pictures!
Cristina
